Krap Falls Sauna

Krap Falls Sauna is built on Camilla and Martin’s property, in the outhouse in the back yard.

The sauna is suitable for 2–6 people. The sauna is available for private bookings only, meaning it will be exclusively yours during your session.

You’ll have access to a high-quality sauna built by a Finnish sauna master, a changing room, a fridge, a cold shower via the garden hose outside, and a green lounge/library for relaxation and screen-free time. In August, a cold plunge will be added.

The sauna is self-service. We greatly appreciate it if you follow our guidelines.

Use of the sauna and cold shower/plunge pool is at your own risk. The sauna is located on private family property. Rental includes access to the sauna, the adjoining lounge, and the outdoor deck with garden hose shower (cold plunge pool coming in August). The rest of the property is private. You may encounter us and our friendly Labrador, but we respect your privacy just as we ask you to respect ours.

Booking must be made in advance via this website. Krap Falls Sauna requires a minimum booking of two people and accommodates up to six. The sauna is pre-heated for 90 minutes before the first booking to ensure it’s warm and ready when you arrive.

Checklist for your visit to Krap Falls Sauna

• Two towels (one is mandatory for sitting on inside the sauna)
• Swimwear
• A water bottle

Sauna Guidelines

• Only use fresh water on the stove (essential oils designed for sauna use are allowed)
• Take breaks from the heat as needed and stay hydrated
• Cool off using the garden hose shower on the deck (a cold plunge pool is coming soon)
• Keep the sauna door closed to prevent the stove from shutting off
• Toilet – there is no toilet available in the sauna
• Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult
• Wet floor – be aware that the floor may become slippery when wet
• Alcohol – during private bookings, up to two units per person are allowed. Avoid drinks that may stain the wood inside the sauna (e.g. red wine, Aperol). Visibly intoxicated guests may be denied entry
• No open flames or candles allowed

Before leaving Krap Falls

• Sweep the floor in the sauna and changing room
• Take all rubbish and bottles with you (bins are located by the garage)
• Please vacate the premises before the next booking
